Our take
Having two SC-8FC units gives you 16 channels of power control—plenty for most lighting rigs. The build is solid, and the switches feel tactile. The extension wire is a nice bonus for running cables. My only gripe is that it's purely manual switching; there's no remote or DMX control, so you have to be at the unit to change channels. Also, it's not dimmable—just on/off. For basic power distribution, these are reliable and affordable.
